YR4 WK18: WOD #5

I knew this workout was coming but I didn’t really understand how hard it was going to be until I actually did it. It was a 12 Days of christmas workout, which I’ve done before, but never of this magnitude. It was extremely hard:

“12 Days of Christmas”

1-300m Run

2-Snatch (155lbs)

3-Thruster (155lbs)

4-Muscle Up

5-Burpees

6-Toes 2 Bar

7-C2B Pull Ups

8-KBS (32Kg) 

9-Box Jumps (30”)

10-Handstand Push Ups

11-Ground to Overhead (155lbs)

12-Man Makers (55lbs DB)

If you’re not familiar with this type of workout its done exaclty like the song. So you do 1, then 2,1, then 3,2,1 and so on. We had to do a little bit of subs for some things, like we did bar MU and did American KBS with a 32kg instead of russians KBS with 48kg. Pos and I also had to share some stuff since we overlapped on a lot of stuff but this was more of a get the work done type of workout instead of one that you try to set a record on.

The hardest part I thought going into it was going to be the 2 rounds of 11-G2OH but they weren’t actually too bad. The toughest part to me was the thruster and Snatch back to back. Also the Man makers they were extremely hard, it also mentally killed me since I was thinking they were one thing and they weren’t and I was pissed at that point. Pos beat me on this one but not too badly, he finished in 68mins and change and I finished in 71mins and 45sec. The last round alone was about 18mins long. I couldn’t believe that we had worked out for that long, this as insane
